When you think about living in paradise, what image appears in your mind? I get a clear image of a beautiful, tropical island. I feel the balmy breeze blowing across my face. It’s Hawaii that I picture in my mind’s eye.
Anthony and I visited both Maui and the Big Island, each for a week. We went to Maui to whale watch with friends and to try out the Kaanapali Beach Club resort. We traveled to Hilo, the rainy side of the Big Island in hopes to see lava and explore the town I always thought I could live in (I love rain, you know.). After working many hours over the holidays, I needed a vacation from work. This was it!
January in Maui is whale watching season. I have a dear friend I refer to as ‘Wifey’. She has three time shares at the Westin, not too far from Lahaina. The three timeshare gets there three weeks each year. She loves whale watching. This trip was the second time I traveled to Hawaii to while watch with her.
